Traditional Fijian Folk Song arr. Sadler

S(+descant)A and optional Bari

Drum accompaniment

Unlimited licence

Originally two part treble, (and this is still an option), Isa Lei has been updated to include changed male voices. It is a simple, but heartfelt song of farewell with easy harmony for all singers. The lilting descant can be sung as a featured solo, or a small group of treble voices. Although gentle throughout, the coda is robust and uplifting. A lovely song for both high school and community choirs.
