A Stepping Stone
SongWorks is designed to be a stepping stone between your singing lesson and a performance of any kind including Performance Skills Class. It will also make your lessons with Kate and private coaching sessions the VoiceArt/SOS Associate Artist much more effective. Accompaniments for your song can also be recorded in this session if you wish.
Artistry
Once you know your song musically and vocally, it will be ready for a SongWorks session, during which all matters pertaining to artistry, dynamics, tempi, tempi variations, phrasing and the interplay between the accompaniment and the vocal line are explored. In other words, the Art part of VoiceArt.
